The Seasons

Lanzarote enjoys an all year-round warm climate, temperatures are usually hot in the summer months (but not too hot!) and in winter temperatures are pleasantly mild. Rainfall is minimal making this a great island to visit no matter what time of year.

Summer

Summer season - June to September. During the day daily temperatures reaching between 30°C and 35°C The northeast trade winds can help make it feel a little cooler on hot days.

Winter

Winter season - November to February. Average temperatures during the day of between 20°C and 25°C, rainfall peaks in December and January.

For those wishing to escape their own country's cold climate Lanzarote is the perfect choice. It may be worthwhile also taking a jacket or Sweater in these months as the evenings can sometimes get chilly.
